spyware problem

i have on my computer spyware which is called starsdoor this spyware sends popups when you use the internet.
i know that this spyware can be removed with avg but my screen reader dosent support it.
i tried a programe which is called xoftspyse and it worked very well with my screen reader but it only scanned my computer without removing anything because i dont have a license key.
does anyone know if i should pay for getting license key for a month or even for 10 days?
does anyone know other ways to remove starsdoor?

You may want to try spybot. I think if you do a google search for it you will be able to download it or buy it. And what screen reader do you use?

i'd recommend spyware doctor. it's from www.pctools.com and is free for fifteen days or so. it's usable with jaws for windows if you use the jaws curser. can't speak for window eyes. hth.

Somewhere there are jaws scripts for ad aware I think it can still be found on www.jfwlite.com, if you use jaws. As someone else ask, What screen reader do you use? It would help us help you if we knew that.
